
- Whole Chicken (Small), Clean
- 1.5 Litre of Water
Stuffing in Chicken
- 4 Tbsp of Rice (Glutinous Rice, Recommended)
- 1 Dried/Fresh Ginseng
- 4 peeled whole garlic cloves
- 4 dried Jujube
- Ginseng roots for more taste (Optional)
How to Wash the Chicken
- Blanch the Chicken
Or
- Clean/Rub the Chicken with Salt (Inside & Outside of the Chicken)
- Rinse off the Salt
Direction
- Stuff all ingredient into the Chicken
- Put chicken into with Boiling water
- Boil in medium high heat for 30 minutes
- Bring the heat to medium and simmer for 40 minutes or place in thermal pot to simmer for at least 3 hours
- Add green onion, salt & pepper to taste
Tip: Reduce the recipe by half for 2 pax. You can replace whole chicken with drumstick if can’t find whole chicken.
